Game Formats
Shattered Gems has several formats, each with unique styles of play. Formats change the way you build and play a deck. There are two types of formats that players can select: Constructed formats and limited formats.
Constructed formats have players build a deck ahead of time. Pvp, Party, Quest are constructed formats.
Limited formats have players build a deck during an event or from a limited pool of cards. Sealed is a limited format.
Constructed
Party
Only one copy of any card in your deck.
Best of one.
Start with four heroes plus 50 card deck.
Heroes start fused, must follow fuse rules.
Deck build with two damage types.
Player vs Player (PVP)
Build your deck from your collection.
The primary format of Shattered Gems.
Best of three.
Start with one hero plus 40 card deck.
Sideboard of 6 cards.
Quest
If you enjoy longer games.
Best of one.
Start with two heroes plus 50 card deck.
Heroes start fused, must follow fuse rules.
Deck building with two damage types.
Draft
No deck required, build your deck from six packs.
Best of three
Start with one hero and 30 card deck.
Decks can include any number of copies of the same card.
Each player drafts three reinforcement packs.
Limited
Sealed
